Demeetra AgBio, Inc. has authorized RIKEN BRC to collect, preserve, and distribute biological materials containing the piggyBac^® transposon.

Demeetra AgBio, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Demeetra AgBio”) has authorized the RIKEN BioResource Research Center (RIKEN BRC) to collect, preserve, and distribute biological materials containing the piggyBac^® transposon (hereinafter referred to as “piggyBac^® Resources”). RIKEN BRC is authorized to receive, maintain, replicate, and distribute piggyBac^® Resources for internal, non-commercial academic research purposes, subject to the submission of the Limited Use License Agreement (LULA) specified by Demeetra AgBio.

Request for Resource Deposits

If you develop piggyBac^® Resources, please consider depositing them with RIKEN BRC. Your deposits will contribute significantly to the advancement of scientific research. Depositing your resources with RIKEN BRC will also reduce the time and effort required to prepare and distribute them to fellow researchers. RIKEN BRC will make every effort to carefully preserve and maintain the deposited resources and make them available to researchers around the world.

Request for Resource Provision

Please note that genetically modified materials containing the piggyBac^® transposon, as well as materials derived from them, may be distributed only through RIKEN BRC or other repositories authorized by Demeetra AgBio. When piggyBac^® transposon vectors are used, the piggyBac^® transposase must be obtained directly from Demeetra AgBio or an institution authorized by Demeetra AgBio. Upon written request from Demeetra AgBio, RIKEN BRC will provide Demeetra AgBio with a copy of the executed LULA. Please take note of these requirements when using piggyBac^® Resources.
