Training course for genetically-modified mouse generation using genome editing technology – TAKE method for mouse zygote electroporation –

1Overview

We will provide hands-on training of basic laboratory techniques to produce genetically-modified mouse strains, including mouse zygote thawing, electroporation, and embryo transfer. We will also give a brief lecture on the basics of genome editing.

Please download, fill out, and submit the application form with an appendix including required information to the secretariat by post(see “For your application and inquiry”).

* Please ask the person holding an administrative position to sign in the “Responsible person” column in the application form.

8Notes

RIKEN provision requires that participants fill out a specific form for laboratory animal handling before joining the training course. It is recommended that participants have pre-training blood sampling at RIKEN for safety measure against bites and scratches by laboratory mice.
Accommodation for trainees is available in the RIKEN Tsukuba Institute unless it is full to capacity or there are other inevitable reasons.
