Solicitation for Designated Donations

Activity Report

At the Tsukuba Campus Open Day held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, we set up a booth to introduce our project, “Bioresource Support Project (Donation Project Supported by You).”

This activity was organized to inform visitors about the donation project and to solicit support for the BioResource Research Center.

The rules were as follows: Visitors received one sticker for listening to a presentation about the activities of each laboratory, and those who collected three or more stickers received a voting sticker. Participants were asked to place their voting sticker on the board next to the laboratory they wanted to support the most.

Despite the unfortunate weather, with occasional light rain, 425 people participated. The event concluded successfully, with the voting board so crowded with stickers that it was difficult to find a place to stick them.

The donations collected through this project will be put to good use for genome analysis aimed at further improving the quality of our bioresources, as well as for the Japan Mouse Clinic project. We look forward to your continued support of the BioResource Research Center.
