Dr. Ito received Young Investigator Award, and Dr. Chang and Mr. Shimizu received English Presentation Awards

On June 28, 2024, Dr. Hidenori Ito, the Special Postdoctoral Researcher of iPS Cell Advanced Characterization and Development Team received the Young Investigator Award for his research achievement entitled “Development of a disease model for von Hippel-Lindau syndrome using patient-specific iPS cells”.

In addition, Dr. Yun-Hsuan Chang, the Special Postdoctoral Researcher in the same team, gave a presentation entitled “The therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles (MSC-EV) in human disease”, and Mr. Tomoya Shimizu, Student Researcher Scientist, gave a presentation entitled “Elucidating pathogenesis of Wolf-Horschhonr syndrome using patient-derived human induced pluripotent stem cells” and received the English Presentation Awards.

These awards were presented by The Japanese Tissue Culture Association.
