On August 9, 2022, Dr. Akira Hashimoto, a Postdoctoral Researcher in Microbe Division (JCM), received Young Investigator Award from The Mycological Society of Japan for his work entitled “Systematics and phylogenetic studies of Ascomycota: Dothideomycetes, Sordariomycetes, and Xylonomycetes”. The award is given to members who have made outstanding achievements in academic or applied technical research in the field of mycology.
