Summary
Dr. Rashmi Parihar is a young scientist in the field of neuroscience, promoting research on aging and neurodegenerative diseases. She also manages an animal facility at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. She visited RIKEN BRC for technical training conducted jointly by the Experimental Animal Division and Bioresource Engineering Division with the aim of introducing reproductive technology using mice. In this seminar, in addition to her own research activities, she will talk about the current situation at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, which is aiming to integrate its strengths in the fields of engineering and medicine.
