Revision of Distribution Fees for Bioresources in RIKEN BRC<\/a><\/h4>\r\n

RIKEN BioResource Research Center (BRC) is a non-profit institution and only requires users to pay the minimum costs for the actual preparation and handling of resources for distribution. Due to the rising costs of labor and raw materials, we have decided to revise our distribution fees. The revised distribution fees apply to all orders for bioresources on or after Wednesday, April 1, 2026 (JST). We deeply appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we look forward to receiving your requests for bioresources.<\/p>\r\n \r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

    The training course for human iPS cells will be held. In this course, we will offer a lecture and practical training for human iPS cells including the overview of human iPS cell culture methods with passaging, freezing and resuscitation on feeder cells (vitrification method) as well as feeder-free culture methods in 1 day course.     "Loose" fungal-algal interactions<\/a><\/h4>\r\n

    Co-culturing the filamentous fungus, Monascostroma sphagnophilum<\/i> (JCM 39664<\/a>), and the green alga, Coccomyxa<\/i> sp. (JCM 39666<\/a>), induces an interaction whereby hyphae of the fungus encircle the green algae. This co-culture system is expected to elucidate the process of hyphal attachment to the algae.<\/p>\r\n
